Description

Fair condition

Dimensions: diameter 24,2 cm 

A rare Imari Chinese porcelain plate, hand painted in an underglaze cobalt blue and over glaze iron red and gold, representing a bunch of colorful flowers and twigs surrounded by a spiral pattern in the center. On the border a very nice pattern of intertwined floral scrolls and fruit enhanced with gold. The back decorated with twigs.

From the early 18th century, Kangxi period (1662-1722)  ca. 1700-1720, Qing dynasty

Condition: fair condition, one chip on the front edge with one other small chip, very small fritting on the rim, one barely visible hairline on the border (see pictures) Stand not included
