Description

A pale green jade carved into the shape of a pair of pea pods with tendrils and on the back is a little bug hiding. The toggle is from the 18th or 19th C.
The jade is hard, translucent, and almost free of inclusions. The jade is getting close to white especially when held to a light. It has a nice hand polished finish, many hours of work went into its production. The workmanship is expert and artistic.
MEASUREMENTS
2 ¼” (6.4 cm) long x 1 ¼” (3.2 cm) wide x ¾” (1.9 cm) thick. Weighs 1.49 oz (42.5 g)
CONDITION
There are no breaks, cracks, or chips. The jade color is very even.
A great jade toggle to add to a collection or hold in the hand and feel its smoothness.
