Hizen produced porcelain basin or bowl, enameled similarly in style to the rare Kenjo type Imari productions produced for Japanese domestic usage.
Kinrande (gold) pairs with vastly colourful polychromes and heaped underglazes to offer vast and expansive imagery; ranging from Gosan-no-Kiri mons and auspicious borderings to paneled cartouches of flowers and fences.

Bowl measures 8.5″ diameter and 3″ in walled height (21.59cm x 7.62cm)

Condition notes:
Wearing to portions of gilt section of rim bordering, along with minimal flecks of enamel reduction.
