Chineses Octogonal Porcelain Qianlong Scales (x2)

Dimensions: ca. 28,4 cm x 20.3 cm x 2,7 cm

A pair of octagonal Chinese porcelain scales, handpainted in cobalt blue underglaze, depicting with a lot of details, a beautiful river landscape, running among mountain rocks, with bouncing carps, pagodas, small houses, trees and bridge. The border decorated with bunches of flowers and birds surrounded by a classical pattern.

From the Qianlong period (1736-1795) ca.1750-1780 Qing Dynasty 

Condition: good condition, one dish has small edge chips and frits, the other dish only has 2 small edge frits, otherwise, both pristine, no cracks, no hairline, no restoration (see pictures) Stand not included
