Chinese export porcelain plates, c. 1730.
Dimensions: Each approximately 9” diameter.
Decoration:
The border is edges in gold and decorated with iron red, blue, and gold flowers.
The cavetto is decorated with a blue diaper pattern interspersed with iron red and gold flowers.
The center is decorated with a vase holding peacock feathers on a stand and surrounded by flowers, all in the imari palette.
The reverse rim is decorated with a pair of simple hand painted stems, reeds, or grasses.
